We ended up climbing all the stairs of the abbey (and I nearly died by falling/lung explosion one or two times) to the roof for amazing views of the city. Then we headed over to Bath Spa which is far less touristy and far cooler than I expected. I managed to get an illicit photo of my foot in the water, although I had to dodge a few guards it was well worth it.

Today we took a bus tour around the city and I think we may have actually gone into the Cotswalds. Either that or we passed the invisible line between limestone-built city and sheep and stone masonry. It was amazingly cold, though, and it took quite a bitof West Country Ale to warm me up. 

Oh, also I think it was Halloween yesterday.
