Met a boy with black fingernails and eyeliner and perfectly shaggy hair name dropping and disapproving of every song they were playing and telling me how the cigarettes he smoked were Hunter S. Thompson’s brand and telling me how impressed he was with my music taste.

2 years ago he would have been just my type.
