WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN...
Arizona Law Curbs Ethnic Studies Classes
"Arizona has adopted a new measure restricting what can be taught in ethnic studies classes in the state’s public schools.
The new law, which suggests that students are “taught to resent or hate other races” in such courses...(Mexican-American history and culture).
When the measure was signed into law by Gov. Jan Brewer on Tuesday, the Arizona Daily Star explained:
State schools chief Tom Horne, a Republican running for attorney general, says the district’s ethnic studies program promotes “ethnic chauvinism” and racial resentment toward whites."
Okay I took a Latino studies class in college and I'm PRETTY SURE I don't resent white people. I'm pretty sure I'm old enough to understand the difference between what a group of people did in the past and what Suzie Johnson sitting next to me had absolutely nothing to do with. I majored in Classical Archaeology and Anthropology so basically my entire undergraduate education was ethnic studies. This is a slippery slope.
Hey, Arizona, I can sew this onto my clothes if that makes it easier for you.

It says "he who wears this symbol is an enemy of our people."
